Within a family-centered approach to working with families, the Inspired Centre provides rehabilitation and related support services for children and youth living in the Districts of Cochrane and Temiskaming and in the James Bay area.
Duties:
The Intake Worker receives and processes referrals and intakes for Inspire Centre services, responds to service inquiries, acts as liaison with families, service providers and community resources. The Intake Worker also supports wait list management and other service coordination and family support activities, Inspire Centre service delivery processes and engages in public awareness activities. The Intake Worker is part of a multidisciplinary team and functions in accordance with the policies, philosophies, mission, vision and values of the organization.Requirements:
- Post-secondary diploma or Degree in Human Services;
- Bilingualism is essential.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Experience with intake an asset
- Experience with families of children with special needs an asset
- Solid knowledge of children’s service system an asset
- Clear vulnerable persons screen check
